Tortilla Basket with Lid
Bringing you a unique table decor product. Keep your tortillas warm and enjoy your meals with your families in this handcrafted natural fibre tortilla box that comes with a wooden lid. This tortilla box is made of Sabaii grass and Bamboo ply. This grass is a perennial grass and is hand cut, sundried, & plaited & handstitched painstakingly by rural women of West Bengal & Odisha.
Care Instructions - Clean with wet cloth, Sun dry when wet, & Avoid running water.
How to Use - Since it's made of natural fibre, we suggest using a cloth as a base inside the basket and then putting your fruits/tortillas etc.
Color - Natural with Black Lid. Partnered with KADAM-HAAT (a member of FAIR-TRADE FORUM of INDIA) that works directly with the craftswomen of the region supporting rural communities to self-sustain themselves. About 60 households are working only in sabaii grass now, making their ends meet through this project.
